Data Engineer
Job Description
Data Engineer will be responsible for extracting and preparing raw data, setting up and own data ELT data pipelines. Functional Requirements and Non-Functional Requirements gathering.
Responsibilities
- Supporting 1-3 Advanced Analytics use cases with data gathering
- Set up and maintain ETL pipelines
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy across the consumption layer.
- Model the raw data and prepare target datasets (EDAs)
- Working in an agile fashion and collaborating with GOSI data team
Desired Candidate Profile Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced skills in SQL, Informatica and Cloudera. 2+ years of experience in building data and maintaining reliable data pipelines
- Able to solve hard level problems in SQL in Leetcode
- Experience in managing databases Strong command of Python, Java or Scala
- Strong understanding of data modelling, schema design, and data normalization
- Experience in integrating data from multiple sources and APIs
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile development process
