Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator at MIRA Renovation. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project information, preparing cost estimates, tracking project costs, and providing accurate and timely information to support project decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project.
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and drawings to gain a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
- Utilize historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to ensure accurate cost estimations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings
- . Work closely with the procurement team to obtain accurate pricing for marble materials
- . Prepare comprehensive and well-organized cost estimates, including detailed breakdowns of costs for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
- Clearly communicate assumptions, exclusions, and any special considerations that may impact the estimate.
