Cost Engineer

• Responsible in providing cost estimates for projects and / OR maintenance services. Responsible for building the direct costs estimate and give guidance to activity allowance issues. • Familiar with SAP system is preferred. • Liaising and providing commercial/contractual awareness to other disciplines (engineering, operation, maintenance etc.,) when required. • Providing all types of cost estimates. Development of “star rates” for new norms • can actively train and encourage the development of Omani personnel on cost estimating rules. Providing design personnel with cost estimate input of documents required. • Review of bids and quotations from vendors on completeness and to be included in direct costs.
