Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to work for an executive family. This role involves a range of culinary responsibilities and requires a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Plan weekly menus for the employer and their family.
  • Develop menus for receptions, luncheons, dinners, breakfasts, and events in consultation with the employer.
  • Prepare food for daily meals and special receptions.
  • Bake desserts and cookies to stock for visitors.
  • Maintain menu program records and manage expense documentation.
  • Oversee and manage the grocery budget.
  • Store food and leftovers from events, ensuring proper disposal or use.
  • Perform regular cleaning and organizational tasks in the kitchen.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

  • Must exhibit unquestionable sanitation practices and possess a comprehensive knowledge of sanitary standards for Health Food Handling.
  • Proficiency in various cooking styles, including American, French, Asian, and others.
