Control Valve Technician
Job Description
Valve technicians install, maintain, inspect, test, dismantle, clean and repair mechanical regulating and controlling devices used to control, direct and measure the flow of oil and natural gas at the wellhead through gathering lines, pipelines and in processing plants.
Responsibilities
- MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE IN LARGE POWER PLANTS & WATER DISTILLATION PLANTS
- Must have a three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI Technical Certificate from recognized Technical Institute.
- Minimum 7 years experience in calibration of control valves, positioners, pneumatic actuator complete maintenance, boosters servicing in large Scale Power Plants, Petrochemical, Chemical plants.
- Working experience in control valve manufacturing industry or control valve repair facilities will have added advantage.
- Experience in Loop checks and troubleshooting experience in pneumatic and Electrical actuators.
- Awareness of quality & safety requirements.
