Contracts Manager – Construction – Parisima Talent
Responsibilities
Post contract administration and commercial management including but not limited to the following:
- Reviewing and processing variations of consultants and contractors in accordance with the contract.
- Administering variations of consultants and contractors in accordance with the client’s Change Management procedures.
- Reviewing and ensuring insurances and bank guarantees (bonds) are in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
- Reviewing EOT and prolongations cost claims.
- Payment valuations and preparing payment certificates.
- Preparing monthly cost report, cashflow and accruals.
- Close out of final account, prepare final payment certificate and release of bank guarantees.
- Assist the technical site team on a day-to-day contractual duties.
- Prepare memos with respect to release of retention, bonds, in line with company’s procedure.
- Assist in dispute resolution, cost management during the project execution and administration of change orders and claims.
- Assist in preparation of contractual correspondences as and when required
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or Civil Engineering.
- Should have strong knowledge and skills in Project Management, Quantity Surveyor and Risk Management.
- Knowledge in FIDIC suite of contracts.
- Sound knowledge in construction.
- Relevant experience at managerial level with consultant, developer, or mixture of Consultant & Contractor (UAE experience is an advantage).
- Should have been involved in Residential, Infrastructure and building projects.
