CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
Job Description
We are looking for a CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER for an Engineering & Contracting Company.
Responsibilities
- Available in Doha with valid QID and NOC
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
- Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective action.
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- Plan and review compensation actions; enforce policies and procedures
- The right candidate will plan, direct, coordinate, and manage construction activities in the project area to ensure project progress and completion in accordance with the overall project plan.
- Coordinate consultants and contractors in the assigned area to keep the project compliant with Budget, Schedule, Quality, and HSE requirements.
-Professional qualifications (minimum Degree Level) in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of a broad range
* Take complete accountability for projects' work stream and shall be accomplished to complete projects within the agreed costs and time.
* Mixed-use development project experience
* GCC experience is mandatory
* Have a Driving License
* Construction and project management background
* Excellent & professional English communication skills
- Maintains excellent communication with upper management both within and across organizations to ensure the smooth running of projects.
- Solid knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, tools & techniques, and ability to adapt them to the organization.
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction field.
- At least 5 years of GCC experience
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Computer Literate
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
