Responsibilities
- • Oversee the financial operations of multiple entities within a geographical cluster, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide timely and insightful information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to accounting standards across the cluster.
- Collaborate with finance teams across entities to streamline processes, leverage synergies, and optimize resource allocation to achieve cluster-wide financial objectives.
- Provide financial guidance and support to entity finance teams, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation, to enhance their capabilities and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic decision-making.
- Managing relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with audit requirements, tax laws, and regulatory standards.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk, through hedging strategies, financial derivatives, and risk management techniques.
- Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and planning process for the cluster, collaborating with entity leaders to set financial targets and allocate resources effectively.
- Represent the cluster in financial discussions, meetings, and presentations with senior management, board members, investors, and other stakeholders to communicate financial performance, objectives, and strategies effectively.
