Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SMART PLANT 3D Civil Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in the design and modeling of Civil systems using Hexagon Smart Plant 3D software. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed Civil designs, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support various projects.

Responsibilities
  • S3D Structural Modelling for onshore & Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
  • Create detailed 3D models of Civil and Structural components, including foundations, buildings, steel structures, and pipe racks.
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineering teams to ensure accurate integration of design elements into 3D model including beams, columns and braces.
  • Design & Drafting Layouts for Civil & Structural disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards. Ensure that all drawings generated comply with SAES standards, and project requirements.
  • Basic Knowledge of MicroStation.
  • Interpret and implement civil specifications, Civil, P&IDs, and project standards.
  • Work on 3D models of Civil systems, including pipe routing, supports, and related components.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Smart Plant 3D.
  • Understanding of Structural layouts, reinforcement details and GA drawings.
  • Understanding and able to generate isometric and PPL, material take-offs, and bill of materials.
  • Coordinate with other department Engineers including Customers to ensure accurate and complete models.
  • Support project team with estimations, design reviews and other studies.
  • Provide technical support, training and guidance to junior designers and other team members.
  • Create or Update drawings/models as per redline markups received.
  • Following the Quality check list defined for self QC before delivery.
  • Convert generated deliverables in PDF. Extract drawing report.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil/Structure design using S3D software.
  • Proficiency in Smart Plant 3D software and other relevant design tools.
  • Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
