Job Description

    • As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient management of inventory levels, ensuring that the organization’s stock levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
    • Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline inventory management processes, minimize inventory shrinkage, and optimize inventory turnover, thereby contributing to cost savings and improved profitability for the organization.
    • Regularly perform inventory audits, and reconcile any discrepancies to maintain a high level of accuracy in the inventory database and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Examine inventory data, spot trends, and generate reports to offer insights into inventory performance, assisting management in making informed decisions about inventory control strategies and process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.

    Skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors to resolve any inventory-related issues, negotiate pricing, and build strong relationships to facilitate smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
    • Expert in utilizing various inventory management software and systems for precise inventory tracking and management, effectively ensuring accurate stock counts and reducing discrepancies.
    • Proficient in analyzing intricate data sets and compiling detailed reports on inventory performance, utilizing valuable insights to provide data-driven recommendations for improving inventory management efficiency and reducing overall operational costs.
    • Experienced in conducting in-depth data analysis and producing insightful reports on inventory performance, using the findings to offer data-driven recommendations for streamlining inventory management processes and minimizing operational expenses.
