Job Description
A Workshop Carpenter is responsible for crafting, repairing, and assembling wooden structures and fixtures in a workshop setting. They work with a variety of tools and materials to create high-quality wood products according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, plywood, and laminates.
- Build and install cabinets, furniture, fixtures, and other wooden products.
- Utilize a wide range of hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
Desired Skills & Experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma or Vocational Training in carpentry.
- Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in a workshop environment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Able to communciate in English.
