Branch Manager (IT company)
Responsibilities
- Manage information technology and computer systems
 - Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
 - Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
 - Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
 - Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
 - Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
 - Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
 - Audit systems and assess their outcomes
 - Preserve assets, information security and control structures
 - Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
 - Overseeing daily business operations.
 - Developing and implementing growth strategies.
 - Creating and managing budgets.
 - Improving revenue for the company.
 - Evaluating performance and productivity.
 - Analysing accounting and financial data.
 - Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
 
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully guiding the sales team
 - Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
 - Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team.
 - Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
 - Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the higher management.
 - Implement marketing strategies that successfully get the word out about our company and drive highly qualified traffic to our front door.
 - Create and deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
 - Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns thoroughly.
 - Produce creative and engaging content for our website and blog that seamlessly converts our target audience.
 - Promote our brand successfully at major industry-related events.
 - Prepare and present quarterly/annual reports to senior management and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
 - Approve marketing material from landing pages, email marketing, case studies, website banners to brochures.
 - Adjust email and advertising campaigns based on consumer behaviour.
 
- Running regular checks on network and data security
 - Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
 - Managing the end to end software development process for any new applications or change to existing systems
 - Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
 - Designing training programs and workshops for staff
 - Conducting regular system audits
 - Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
 - Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
 - Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
 - Providing direction for IT team members
 
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as an IT General Management or relevant experience
 - Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
 - Expertise in data centre management and data governance
 - Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
 - Ability to manage personnel
 - BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
 - Proven success in a managerial role.
 - Strong decision-making ability.
 - Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
 - Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
 - Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable.
 - Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
 - Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
 - Strong business sense and industry expertise
