Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Bartender role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Responsibilities
- Handling the cash float and transaction of the outlet.
- Being able to pick up, verify, and store all requisitions for juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas.
- Stocking the bar areas with, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments.
- Developing a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.
- Developing a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar, i.e. mocktails, specialty drinks, etc.
- Understanding the menu and the daily specials as well as what is not available. Maintaining all par stocks during service.
- Ensuring that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
- Ensuring proper mixing, blending, etc. of drinks.
- Servicing all drinks for service bar area, guests, and the bar area.
- To be able to always keep the bar area neat and tidy clearing dishes and glassware whenever possible.
- Ensuring that the bar is stocked and all side opening and closing duties are completed.
- Ensuring to serve safe food, following the food safety procedures and HACCP system.
