Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation, develop project plans, and execute automation projects to improve efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and develop project plans
  • Program and configure automation systems to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Test and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure proper functioning
  • Maintain and update automation systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Train and support end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for automation system procurement
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in automation projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems Experience with programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving in automation systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred Skills Proficient in PLC programming Knowledge of electrical systems and circuitry
  • Must have Pharma background
  • Familiarity with industrial automation protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with project management and documentation
