Guildhall Recruitment Agency is proud to represent a prestigious international design studio in their search for an Associate (Interior) Design Director. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the establishment of a new entity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and to drive business growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) market.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring project delivery for our clients in KSA, while also expanding the studio’s presence in the region by building and nurturing networks.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring progress, budgets, and quality align with objectives.
• Build and lead project teams, overseeing daily activities and reporting on progress.
• Represent the studio in client-facing roles and contribute to business growth.
• Present projects in the absence of senior leadership.
• Drive the implementation of best practices across teams, ensuring design excellence.
In This Role, You Will:
• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of architects and professionals, including BIM and interior designers.
• Guide the creative process for multiple projects, from acquisition through design development to execution.
• Ensure the highest standards of design excellence across all projects.
• Be the primary point of contact for clients and consultants, representing the studio with confidence and expertise.
• Actively participate in client development and leverage your network to establish strong business relationships.
• Take full accountability for project outcomes, including design, technical aspects, planning, and budgeting.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in architecture.
• A minimum of 15 years of senior or managerial experience, preferably in a large-scale architectural studio.
• Strong knowledge of the Middle East regional market and a robust network within KSA.
• Proven tactical and operational management capabilities.
• Extensive experience in portfolio growth and client acquisition.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency in managing financial aspects, including P&L responsibilities.
