Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular training sessions for concerned employees in KDD in English, Hindi & Malayalam languages Support departments in conducting risk assessment, Health &Safety improvement projects through training and group activities
- Full awareness and compliance of the Kuwait Health &Safety regulations
- Cooperate with other organizations and relevant authorities, assist and cooperate concerning audits and corrective action Assist in contact tracing personnel with infectious diseases Provision of suitable and relevant information and supervision concerning Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Co-ordinate on safety evacuation procedures within the Company.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.Required Qualification
- Education: Bachelor Degree/ Higher engineering diploma (required)
- Certification (preferred) - any relevant training-related certification
- Work Experience: 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience in active Safety Role, preferably in the Field
of Food Processing
Required Professional Skills: - Safety Management Systems (SMS) : Developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Occupational Health and Safety Regulations : Understanding and implementing local, state, and federal safety regulations relevant to your industry.
- Incident Investigation : Conducting thorough investigations into workplace accidents or incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Emergency Response Planning : Developing plans and procedures for responding to emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or medical incidents.
- Safety Audits and Inspections : Performing regular inspections and audits to assess workplace conditions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) : Addressing environmental factors that may impact health and safety, such as air quality, noise levels, or hazardous waste disposal.
