Advisory Services Director
Job Description
Our client is an upcoming ESG business in Riyadh. They are seeking an Advisory Services Director to provide strategic guidance to clients on the supply-side developing and delivering projects, and on the demand-side providing services relating to emissions baselining, decarbonization strategy, and building an offset portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals in the market.
- Client Consultation: Offering expert advice to clients on developing and delivering projects (suppliers) and helping buyers to baseline emissions and set decarbonization strategies, including the role of offsetting.
- Market Intelligence: Keeping abreast of developments in the market, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Project Design and Development: Assisting clients in designing and structuring projects, including methodologies for carbon emission reduction or removal, and navigating project development processes.
- Financial Modeling: Overseeing financial analysis and modelling to assess the economic viability of projects, considering factors such as costs, revenue streams, and potential returns on investment.
