Job Description
Managing and analyzing the financial and accounting data of the center, preparing and closing budgets and final accounts accurately and effectively, reviewing the center’s accounts and accounting tasks and ensuring their compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
Technical Accounting Skills:
- Financial Record Keeping: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- General Ledger Management: Skills in managing and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing payments, handling invoices, and monitoring outstanding balances.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:Ability to prepare and manage budgets, track financial performance, and make forecasts based on workshop data.
Industry-Specific Knowledge:
- Workshop Financials: Understanding of financial aspects specific to workshops, such as parts inventory, labor costs, and equipment maintenance expenses.
- Cost Analysis: Ability to analyze costs associated with workshop operations, including labor, materials, and overheads, to optimize financial performance.
Analytical Skills:
- Data Analysis: Skills in analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Problem Solving: Ability to address and resolve financial issues, such as discrepancies in accounts or budget overruns.
Software Proficiency:
- Accounting Software: Familiarity with accounting software and systems, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, for managing financial transactions and reporting.
- Spreadsheet Software: Proficiency in using spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and financial reporting.
