Job Description
On behalf of our esteemed client, a highly respected marketing and events agency, we are seeking experienced Account Management professionals to join their team in Riyadh. This role is perfect for candidates with a robust background in account management and significant experience in the advertising or marketing & events sector. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing the execution of events, and contributing to the growth of the business. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in account management and a proven ability to deliver high-quality events.
Responsibilities
• Client Relationship Management: • Serve as the main contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships. • Understand client needs and objectives and translate these into clear event briefs. • Proactively communicate with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations. • Developing business by turning briefs into real business, approaching new clients and building strong relations. Project Management: • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of events, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, production, logistics, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery. • Prepare and manage project detailed brief, timelines, budgets, and post-event reports. Sales and Business Development: • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing and potential client accounts. • Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for new business pitches. • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Financial Management: • Monitor project budgets and ensure profitability. • Approve invoices and manage client billing in collaboration with the finance department. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with the creative and production teams to develop innovative event concepts. • Lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all departments. • Mentor and support junior staff, providing guidance and development opportunities. Quality Assurance: • Ensure all deliverables meet the client’s quality standards and brand guidelines. • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
•Experience: 5-7 years of account management experience, preferably within a marketing & events agency or a related industry. •Skills: Strong project management capabilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and sound financial acumen. •Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex events and building lasting client relationships.
