Accommodation Assistant Supervisor – Confidential Company
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of camp operations including staff management, program development, and facility maintenance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of campers and staff.
- Recruit, hire, and train camp staff members.
- Manage camp budgets and financial records.
- Plan and coordinate camp activities and events.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camp policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and assess camp programs and make necessary improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in camp administration or a similar role.
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and lifeguarding is preferred.
- Experience working with children and youth in a camp or recreational setting.
- Knowledge of camp regulations, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for outdoor education and environmental stewardship.
- Physical stamina and ability to participate in camp activities.
