Job Description
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit, to support organizational goals and maintain a productive work environment in compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Build partnerships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
2. Employee Onboarding & Orientation:
- Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
- Ensure proper documentation and contract preparation in compliance with Omani labor laws.
- Introduce employees to company policies, culture, and values.
3. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and provide resolution strategies.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and manage conflict resolution.
- Foster open communication and engagement between management and employees.
4. Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and KPIs.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance and career development.
5. Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Manage employee development initiatives, including succession planning.
- Ensure continuous professional development aligned with organizational goals.
6. Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
- Design and review competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
- Manage employee insurance, leave policies, and other statutory benefits.
7. Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits to ensure HR processes meet company standards.
8. Employee Exit & Offboarding:
- Manage smooth offboarding, including exit interviews and clearance processes.
- Provide insights on employee turnover and recommend retention strategies.
- Handle termination procedures in line with legal and ethical standards.
9. HR Strategy & Reporting:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and present HR analytics and reports to management.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and workforce planning.
Key Requirements:Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in handling the full employee lifecycle.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Omani labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
