Solution Architect – Confidential Company
Responsibilities
- Actively drive the alignment of IT solutions with the global business vision by translating strategic objectives and business requirements into effective and scalable functional solutions
- Ensure continuous alignment and proactive communication with IT project managers, scrum masters, delivery teams, and external providers to ensure the successful implementation of complex, integrated solutions and hold all parties accountable for project outcomes
- Lead and oversee the integration of multiple heterogeneous systems, ensuring seamless collaboration between applications, providers, and teams, while maintaining accountability for meeting project timelines and quality standards
- Accountable for translating predetermined elements into comprehensive and detailed designs that serve as blueprints for delivery teams, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives
- Conduct thorough reviews of business challenges to define the vision and requirements for solutions. Accountable for recommending, selecting, and driving the implementation of the most optimal solution, including the development of a detailed roadmap aligned with business goals
- Champion and enforce a structured approach to business application solutions, ensuring adherence across all phases of the project lifecycle
- Define, implement, enforce and govern the reference software architecture for each potential domain (Web, App, Cloud, Big Data, etc.) and lead the development of architectural software cross-components.
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve.
- Research of advanced technologies and approaches regarding best practices in the field.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Direct Manager, ensuring all tasks are aligned with core responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the IT and business strategy
- Manage a small team of functional consultants.
Desired Candidate Profile
- IT / Accounting / Business / Engineering Degree or Equivalent
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications is an advantage
- Proven experience in defining and implementing complex IT architectures, with a strong focus on ERP systems, particularly MS Dynamics, and familiarity with integrating CRM, Cloud, Big Data, IoT, and Web/App Portals into cohesive enterprise solutions
- Extensive experience in managing IT service providers, including procurement processes (RFI, RFP), contracting, budget management, service governance, SLA negotiation and enforcement, and conflict resolution, with a focus on aligning services with architectural and business objectives
- Background: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in IT-related roles, with at least 5 years in IT architecture positions involving significant responsibility. Strong experience with ERP systems, particularly MS Dynamics, is required
- Have done at least 8-10 end to end implementations projects.
