Generator Mechanic( Electrical and mechanical) – liberty building system fzc
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on generators, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Install and commission new generators according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Coordinate with other technicians and contractors to complete larger repairs or installations.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in generator technology.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics on generator maintenance and repair procedures.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on generators.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure generators are functioning properly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Industry experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a generator mechanic.
- Nationality preference: No specific preference.
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators.
- Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Personal qualities: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Physical abilities: Able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
