Cashier – LAL’S INTERNATIONAL LTD. (FZC)
Responsibilities
Cash Handling: · Process customer transactions accurately, efficiently, and securely using the point-of-sale (POS) system. · Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions with precision. · Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy. Customer Service: · Greet customers with a friendly and approachable demeanor. · Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products, prices, and payment methods. · Assist customers in locating items within the store and provide relevant information about product features. Receipts and Documentation: · Provide customers with accurate receipts for their purchases. · Maintain organized records of daily transactions and reconcile any discrepancies. Product Knowledge: · Develop a good understanding of the furniture products offered in the store to provide basic information to customers. · Collaborate with the sales team to stay updated on product specifications, promotions, and special offers. Cash Register Maintenance: · Ensure the cash register area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. · Troubleshoot minor technical issues with the POS system and report any major malfunctions to the supervisor. Security and Compliance: · Follow established procedures to prevent theft, fraud, and other security risks. · Adhere to company policies and guidelines related to cash handling and customer interactions. Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a cashier, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of furniture products or retail experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
