Mechanical Estimation Engineer – LEELAAK HR Consultancy
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to develop project plans and schedules.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary data for estimating purposes.
- Research and identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials or methods.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all cost estimates.
- Track and monitor project costs throughout the duration of the project.
- Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor quotes and proposals.
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials required.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for the candidates who are having experience in the Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Distillation Columns, Reactors, Separators, Absorbers, Adsorbers, Scrubbers, Fin Fan Coolers, Deaerators, and Accumulators
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification in estimation or project management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation or a similar role.
- Experience working in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in estimation software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
