Responsibilities
- The candidate should be able to teach one instrument and western vocals.
- Develop and implement music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to different learning styles.
- Teach students how to play musical instruments and develop their vocal skills through individual and group lessons.
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters creativity and a love for music.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their musical abilities.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions by organizing and guiding rehearsals.
- Introduce students to various genres of music and teach them about music theory and history.
- Collaborate with other music teachers and school staff to organize and coordinate music events and performances.
- Stay updated on current music education trends and techniques by attending workshops and professional development sessions.
- Maintain a safe and organized music classroom with well-maintained instruments and equipment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress, upcoming events, and any concerns.
