Our maintenance and engineering service also offer a very extensive catalogue of services Including Line and Base Maintenance, AOG Recovery, Aircraft technical acceptance, Modifications, painting and new installations on board, Components Maintenance Stations and full logistic and spare Support. The Gulf Helicopters Training Academy (GHTA) offers QCAA and EASA approved type rating for AW139 and AW189 pilots and engineers alike. With our range of AW139 and AW189 Full Flight Simulators (FFS) we offer cost efficient quality training solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Network administration of - Backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support, CCTv system, Eventide Telephone Voice Recorder, time & attendance systems, Servers, desktops, laptops and other IT equipments
  • Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking and computer hardware devices and software 
  • Monitor and support technical systems required to keep the LAN up and running. Prepare and maintain Network Diagram, which should include configuration used for related network equipments.
  • Develops and documents system standards for computer and network devices. 
  • Report on the capacity and performance of existing networks and make recommendations for acquisition or replacement of equipment/infrastructure.
  • Manage Microsoft Windows Servers and Active Directory. 
  • Attend to all PC hardware/software/network related problems/failures and rectify them, if necessary, liaise with local vendors. Record and track all problems/issues reported. Perform preventive maintenance of all PC’s and hardware equipments on a regular basis.
  • Ensure daily and month end backup of the network are maintained as per backup policy and investigate any error logs. Also do periodic restores to check integrity of the Data.
  • Responsible for All the telecommunication system at GHC, which includes dealing with Q-Tel for new connections, new request for connection and coordinating any fault related to EPABX system. 
  • Maintain and follow up of all Annual service charges/ renewals for all IT Related contract. 
  • Maintains inventory of equipments and parts as well as documentation of all IT Equipments
  • Report log of all the IT related problems/defects/issues by GHC staff or self-identified or assigned by IT Manager to Help Desk by end of each working day.
  • Assist IT Manager in annual budget preparation and procuring of Computer desktops, laptops, printers, software’s and other IT related products 
  • Assisting the IT team in preparing the Department manuals and policies.
