Certified Rigger L3.
WMS (Work Method Statement) approval is an advantage.
Proven experience in rigging and lifting operations.
Comprehensive knowledge of lifting gear and rigging techniques.
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and material specifications.
Strong planning, organizational, and management skills.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in handling cranes, forklifts, and riggers.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in outdoor environments and in various weather conditions.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Rigging Operations:

  • Set up and manage lifting gear as per the Lifting Operation Plan.
  • Execute rigging techniques and ensure the safe use of various types of lifting equipment.
  • Handle crane, forklift, and riggers for loading and offloading activities.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Conduct pre-use and post-use inspections of lifting gears.
  • Maintain Rigging Loft Controls to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including WMS (Work Method Statements) where applicable.

Planning and Coordination:

  • Understand and interpret drawings, lifting details, material finishes, and project construction material requirements.
  • Select the correct lifting arrangement in accordance with planned lifting operations.
  • Perform setting-out plans on site as per approved drawings and storage plans.

Management:

  • Plan and manage material, equipment, and manpower for lifting operations.
  • Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Inspection and Maintenance:

  • Regularly inspect lifting equipment to ensure operational safety.
  • Address any maintenance issues promptly to prevent operational delays.
