Job Description

The Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s social media presence. The successful candidate will develop and implement social media strategies that align with our business goals, increase engagement and followership, and drive website traffic.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to drive engagement, followership, and website traffic.
    Create and manage high-quality content across various social media platforms.
    Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to create and implement social media campaigns and promotions.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    At least 2 years of experience in social media management.Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social or Buffer.

    Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

Nice to have

  • Experience in graphic design or video editing.
    Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles.
    Familiarity with social media advertising and sponsored content.
    Ability to develop and maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors. In addition to Understanding of current trends and emerging platforms in social media marketing
